Quinta da Senhora da Ribeira is set in the remote, hot and dry Douro Superior and commands a magnificent north bank position, overlooking a broad sweep of the Douro.Here is also located the Senhora da Ribeira Chapel, what is left nowadays of the ancient locality that with the construction of the Dam got submersed, and the Chapel was transferred stone by stone to this paradisiacal place, in homage to the Saint.
