The Cerro Tijeretas (Frigatebird Hill) is located 2 km from the Interpretation Center, southwest of Isla San Cristobal. Named for the frigates of the place, whose tail ends in a pair of scissors, was one of the first places where he landed the English biologist Charles Robert Darwin. It is the ideal place to enjoy a spectacular view of white sand beaches on one side and the roofs of Puerto Baquerizo, on the other.
