Livingston is a colorful and friendly town. It is the only Atlantic port in Guatemala and has a distinctly Caribbean atmosphere with a population of mostly Garifuna and Creole people. You won't regret your trip down the Rio Dulce. Numerous hostels, restaurants and live reggae and punta music nearly every night are Livingston's big draw.
