Hall's Pond Cay lies just southeast of Warderick Wells . It is approximately 2 miles long and averages 700' wide. It has a total land area of about 200 acres. On the western shore are a series of high bluffs running lengthwise and projecting upward 30'-60'. Salt ponds take up about 15 acres of the interior of the Cay. Along the northern shore are 4 caves with 4' headroom. One cave has 14 blow holes to the rock above. Three quarters of a mile from the southern end, on a high hill and flanking a deep bight, are the ruins of 4 houses. The last people to inhabit them, the Davis family, were driven away by the hurricane of 1926. Sisal, a major crop at that time, can still be found growing on the island. Northwest of the ruins about 300' is a cave hole with a fresh water well. Hall's Pond Cay is crisscrossed with various trails awaiting your footfalls.
