Marilyn's Cut is next to the Mixing Bowl, the junction between the dramatic cascades of Jackson and the sheer drop-off of Bloody Bay. A large crevice with a vertical chimney begins along the top, angling to the west until it exits on the wall at about 60 feet. Outcroppings along the wall are resplendent with gorgonians, bright Yellow Tube Sponges and Red Rope Sponges. Along the top, hard corals attract colorful wrasseand the soft corals provide great camouflage for Trumpetfish.Marilyn's Cut is home to another Little Cayman celebrity, Ben the Nassau Grouper. Ben can usually be found hanging out near a Giant Barrel Sponge just below the crest of the wall. His large size and friendly demeanor make him very popular with divers but photographers may have trouble keeping him away from the camera lens! If Ben's not around, you'll find several other large Nassau Groupers, friendly French Angelfish and colorful tropicals to capture your attention.
