To the far east of Bloody Bay and Jackson Wall, Nancy's Cup of Tea begins in 35 feet of water, plunging in a dramatic cascade of crevices, boulders and overhangs to depths of thousands of feet. Rugged mounds of limestone are festooned with colorful displays of orange and red Strawberry Vase Sponges, brilliant lemon yellows and the more sedate neutral browns and beiges of enormous tube sponges, along with gorgonians, soft corals and small clusters of Orange Elephant Ear Sponges. The site carries the secondary name of Magic Roundabout, referring to a large pinnacle and the exquisite deep passageways around the formation. Filled with huge growths of Black Coral, twisting strands of delicate green Wire Corals and extensions of blood Red Rope Sponges, the crevices provide shelter for myriad fish, such as Nassau Groupers, French and Gray Angelfish, Squirrelfish, Filefish and small wrasse. The promontory juts out into the clear blue waters, draped in sponges and gorgonians that extend over the abyss. The site also features a chimney type chute that leads from the top of the reef and exits along the wall at about 100 feet.
