Fascinating and beautiful, Bonaventure Island has the largest gannet colony in North America and the most accessible in the world. Around 70,000 gannets nest there. Bonaventure Island along with Perce Rock became a provincial park in 1972. It provides shelter to more than 175 species of birds. Hiking trails and ancestral homes will certainly delight visitors.
